Course Size: 10 – 15 participants

Course Description: Value Stream Mapping is a Lean technique used to document, analyze, and improve the flow of information or materials required to bring a product from order to delivery. This course includes a detailed walk through of Value Stream Map benefits, standard visual icons and meanings, and a hands-on map creation.

Learning Objectives: Upon satisfactory completion, participants will:

- Know when and why to create a Value Stream Map
- Be able to clearly identify the standard icons and utilize standard icons
- Understand how to clearly document the plan to close the gap between current and future state
