Participant Profile: Employees that utilize excel for analyzing large data sets, creating on-going reports, and merging data sets

Course Size: 10 – 15 participants

Course Description: Microsoft Excel is one of the most widely-used analytics tools available today. Leveraging Excel’s analytical abilities, specifically pivot tables and VLOOKUP, to create efficient data analysis can give participant back hours in their day. Students will learn to create and manage pivot tables, VLOOKUPs and pivot charts to improve tehir Excel efficiency and analytic prowess. Course topics include data layout, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, shortcut keys and charts.

Learning Objectives: Upon satisfactory completion, participants will:

- Merge and append data using VLOOKUPs and HLOOKUPs
- Layout data for pivot table and chart analyses
- Create interactive reporting tools that allow users to navigate data and trends quickly, guiding data-driven decision making
